Traffic Engineeng Server Freeware Software

We are glad to announce latest Freeware version of Traffic Engineering Server Software available for free downloading. You are welcome to use TES Freeware 2.0.4 free of charge for your network of up to 30 PCs (IPs from a.b.c.2 to a.b.c.32). This version is also applicable as a full-featured evaluation demo of our standard commercial TES software. After downloading you will need to burn ISO image to a regular CD, boot hardware server with it and wait until installation is finished. After the next system boot you will get fully operable Traffic Engineering Server *.

There are Two Simple Steps to deploy TES Freeware on your hardware:

 Step 1: Download the .ISO image file of the installation CD and burn it to a blank CD-R or CD-RW 

 Step 2: Install Traffic Engineering Server:

  • Boot your server with the installation CD 
  • Confirm the start of the installation by pressing Enter **
  • After it is finished, remove CD and press Enter to reboot server
  • Configure TES in accordance with TES User's Guide

Please notice: in order to access HTML GUI and/or Terminal Panel use the following credential:

Username - tes_admin
Password - tes_admin

TES Freeware can be installed on a wide range of hardware. The major requirement is CPU architecture - it should be x86 (Intel Xeon, Pentium, Celeron, Core; AMD Athlon and others). To get TES as operable network appliance it is necessary to have server with two Fast Ethernet network interfaces. To summarize, here are hardware requirements:

  • Hard Drive (HDD): 7-10 GB
  • Network Adapter: Two Fast Ethernet NIC (RJ-45)

  • Other Components: Monitor, Keyboard (necessary only during the installation)
  • Architecture: x86
  • Processor (CPU): 2.0 GHz
  • Memory (RAM): 512 MB
  • Hard Drive (HDD): 80 GB
  • Network Adapter: Two Fast Ethernet (RJ-45)
  • Display Adapter: any
  • Optical Drive: CD-ROM
  • Other Components: Monitor, Keyboard (necessary only during the installation)

* - TES Freeware Software has a limitation for number of network subscribers it can handle. Newly installed Freeware TES software is capable of serving up to 30 LAN users (first 30 IPs from certain IP block). Please contact us to get more information on how to take away this limitation.
