Network Intrusion Detection System

Primary function of any Network Intrusion Detection System or NIDS is to examine traffic on certain network looking for malicious activity that could be an attack, port scan or attempt to get unauthorized access.

At Internet Service Providers (ISPs) networking structure NIDS can be deployed on backbone part of the network and monitor large amounts of traffic passing through it. NIDS deployed at smaller organizations or enterprises can be set up to monitor traffic for certain network host e.g. server, gateway or router.

Traffic Engineering Server (TES) is NAT gateway with Bandwidth Management and QoS features that is available as Hardware or Software Solutions and provides intelligent tool set to monitor, analyze and manage traffic flows in wide range of networks. Semi-automatic and at the same time powerful NIDS is among TES capabilities.

You are welcome to get further information on features TES provides by visiting our Overview page or contacting us. Thank you!
