Connection to WAN/Internet over PPPoE

My Internet connection requires PPPeE connection to be established between the gateway router and ISP. As TES currently supports only static IP connection to WAN network it would be great if it could establish PPPoE, PPTP or L2TP. By the way can I configure TES WAN NIC for automatic IP configuration?

Re: Connection to WAN/Internet over PPPoE

You can certainly set up TES router's WAN interface to get IP address and default gateway entry via DHCP. Just place "dhcp" instead of IP address of WAN NIC in HTML GUI and next time TES initializes it will request IP settings from DHCP server. At the same time we do not recommend such configuration and prefer static IP setup as this prevents overhead during network troubleshooting.

Thank you for your feedback and feature request regarding PPPoE, L2TP and PPTP!
