Re: make alias ip

May I know if you mean some specific function or TES as a whole?

Re: make alias ip

I use free TES at the office for the internet gateway, but it's rather difficult to monitor the client because there is IP number only, can we named each ip number? only for clients monitoring.
thanks

Re: make alias ip

Current version of TES software doesn't allow to replace IP addresses of LAN subscribers with the names. At the same time this doesn't concern public IPs which are translated into hostnames in Traffic Analysis/Report monitoring feature and Web Cache reports.

is it possible to bypass the bandwidth limit from clients to TES when clients accessing the proxy web cache? and the bw limiter only works when accessing direct to the web for faster browsing.

Re: make alias ip

TES doesn't apply bandwidth limits to traffic that comes from users behind TES to its web cache as well as to returning traffic. This feature is enabled by default and allows users to fetch data from web cache regardless what service level is applied to them in bandwidth management settings.
